Is A 2 year degree (Surgical Tech) from a nationally accredited school a good move?

Im in a 2 year vocational surgical tech program that offers an ociates degree but i am afraid (after reading all these different post) that because it is a nationally accredited school that i would not be able to further my career by going to school (with my credits) to become an RN. PLEASE HELP!!
