Is this normal with percocet withdrawal?

I've been taking Percocet for 8 months for back pain and eventually surgery. I was on 30 mgs of Oxycodone every 4 hours for 2 weeks after the surgery which took place in Feburary of this year, then 20 mgs 3 times a day for 3 months, then I was on 35-40 mgs a day. I have decided that I've had enough of taking the Percocet and have decided to just stop cold turkey. My dr. prescribed Clonidine and Ativan for 2 weeks to help with the withdrawals. It is now 48 hours and I feel great! The first 24 hours were rough but, bearable. Will I now start to feel better every day from now on Or will I be suprised tomorrow and feel horrible? Is the worst over?
