Is a smallpox vaccine available everywhere now?

Are you sure the person didn't ask you to get vaccinated against Varicella (chicken pox)? There's no reason to get a smallpox vaccine, and you're not going to be able to find it readily... When I got accepted to med school they required me to get a Varicella titer. Maybe there was a miscommunication?
